About Me

I live in Shropshire with my husband who is a Vicar in the Church of England, and our two children.

I write on the subjects of disability, chronic illness, injustice, and faith. I have a rare lung disease which is incurable and progressive. It shapes a lot of how I am and what I believe about life.

I'm working on a book about contentment in Christ as well as a couple of fiction projects.

I'm passionate about Jesus and the hope that he brings, and love to share stories about transformed lives.

I blog at http://greatadventure-liz.blogspot.co.uk/

About Me

With Welsh and Irish heritage, it’s no surprise that Lois was born with a passion for words. Writing has always been the natural form through which she expresses, explores and encourages, often prompting new ways of thinking about seemingly commonplace circumstances.

Her publishing history includes articles, book reviews, prize-winning poetry and a mixed media (photography and creative non-fiction) book. She is currently working on a historical novel.

She has just launched a Christian writing blog [www.livenourished.net] which will feature encouragements and devotionals to help people not just live, but live nourished in their faith. Key verses: Matthew 4:4 & 1 Timothy 4:6.

She is also a qualified photographer, and her work has been featured in exhibitions in Wales and Northern Ireland, and her concert photography has been featured in Top of the Pops magazine and other media outlets.

When she’s not writing, she loves to read - especially classic & historical fiction, and she is a regular book reviewer for What the Dickens? magazine.

She is also the UK Membership Secretary of the Historical Novel Society.

About Me

I write about life in general at www.jamandgiraffes.com as Lucy Robinson. Here you will find details of my daughter's Giraffe Bread episode.

I write short pieces about my writing and a Friday 500 post each week at www.lucymarfleet.com, using my maiden name Lucy Marfleet as my pen name.

My children Lily and Joe are both primary age and are full of ideas, energy and evenings of grumpiness. I have evenings of grumpiness too, but far less energy because of a number of voluntary commitments. The ideas tend to wait their turn until lights out.

Before parenthood I taught in schools and worked with young offenders. I have a couple of theological degrees and a keen interest in OT narrative. In 2013 I went through a period of burnout; writing has been not only therapeutic but a means to bless others. I have much to learn still but am keen to keep going and keep getting better.

About Me

I'm a stay-at-home mum and freelance writer - recently started! I blog at desertmum1.wordpress.com and write predominantly about faith and family life, adoption, parenting, discipleship of our children (and ourselves while we parent them!), feminism, and anything else that catches my attention!

I'm currently doing a little work for Home for Good, the fantastic Christian adoption charity, and pushing other doors to see what God has in store, including possibly some children's books.

I live in York with my husband and four kids. I chair our school PTA and am involved with music and worship, kids' work and toddler group at church. I also co-lead a daytime housegroup for parents of small kids.
